Job summary

Prestige Care and Rehabilitation - Pinewood Terrace is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care. The role supports daily living activities, housekeeping, and community safety within a skilled nursing environment.

The position requires state-certified medication pass credentials or delegation, CPR/First Aid, and Food Handler permits where required. The pay is hourly, with minimum 17 and maximum 19 per hour, reflecting local standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of personal care experience with older adults preferred.
• Must hold state-required medication pass certification and complete delegation requirements.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications; Food Handler permit as required by state.
• Word processing skills and ability to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of the medication room and services per physician orders and state law.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate medication/treatment records for each resident.
• Coordinate with pharmacies for orders and refills.
• Provide direct resident care while promoting dignity and independence.
