Job summary

Glen Park Senior Living in Glendale, CA, is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to administer medications and assist with residents in an RCFE setting. You will ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations and coordinate with medical staff to promote health and independence.

Responsibilities include medication management, documentation, and scheduling doctor visits, with a focus on reducing resident stress and maintaining safety during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a caregiver with 20+ residents in an 8-hour shift.
• Live-Scan Clearance, TB test, and CPR/AED certification required on offer.
• Knowledge of medication administration and Title 22 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the basic needs of residents in an RCFE setting.
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Administer medication to residents in accordance with Title 22 regulations.
• Order and reorder medications following physician instructions.
• Monitor medication administration records and report errors.
• Provide progressive documentation and communication with physicians and medical professionals.
• Schedule resident doctor’s appointments.
• Ensure residents stay stress-free by working with medical staff to reduce pain and promote engagement.
• Maintain a safe work environment and composure during emergencies.
