Job summary

Glen Park Senior Living in Glendale, CA is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to assist with the basic needs of residents and administer medications in compliance with Title 22 regulations. The role supports physician communication and documentation to promote resident health and independence.

Shift is PM, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, full-time with comprehensive benefits; Live-Scan clearance, TB test, and CPR/AED certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience as a caregiver, familiar with managing 20+ residents within an 8-hour shift.
• Mandatory Live-Scan Clearance, TB test, and CPR/AED certification required upon job offer.
• Knowledge of medication administration and ability to comply with Title 22 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the basic needs of residents in an RCFE setting.
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Administer medication to residents in accordance with Title 22 regulations.
• Order and reorder medications following physician instructions.
• Monitor medication administration records and report errors.
• Provide progressive documentation and communication with physicians and medical professionals.
• Schedule resident doctor's appointments.
• Ensure residents stay stress-free by working with medical staff to reduce pain and promote engagement.
• Maintain a safe work environment and composure during emergencies.
