Job summary

VibraLife, a Vibra Healthcare Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking Medication Technicians to join its team on a PRN / PER DIEM basis. 8-hour shifts are available.

Responsibilities include assisting residents and families, supervising and recording medications, helping with activities of daily living, taking vitals, coordinating with physicians, ensuring compliance with state regulations, responding to emergencies, and training new staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Ability to follow departmental safety, sanitation and hazardous waste procedures and regulations.
• Ability to understand and respect confidential nature of resident charts and medical information.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents, their family members and prospective residents as needed.
• Supervises and records medications.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Takes and records vital signs and communicates with physicians.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations and helps train new staff.
