Job summary

• Ability to follow departmental safety, sanitation and regulatory procedures.
• Ability to understand and respect confidential resident charts and medical information.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and families as needed.
• Supervise and record medications.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents in or out of bed.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Communicate with Physicians and consultants and provide follow up.
• Arrange physician appointments and transportation if needed.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations and assist in reporting.
• Respond to emergency alert calls.
• Protect resident dignity and safety.
