Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek is seeking medication technicians/medication aides. We offer both full-time and part-time shifts, with weekend availability required. We can delegate med aide responsibilities in-house; experience passing medication is preferred.

Located in downtown Dallas near I35E and Dallas North Tollway off Oaklawn Avenue, our small, freestanding memory care assisted living community has 44 residents. We focus on memory care, supporting residents with Alzheimer's or other dementias across the disease spectrum.

The starting pay rate for caregivers is $15.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Priority is given to candidates with prior senior care experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing resident services such as personal care, activities of daily living, housekeeping, laundry, social activities, life enrichment, meal services, and delegated tasks as applicable.

Primary duties:

• Supporting dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assisting with ADLs, environmental orientation, dining, social activities, laundry, and meal services, promoting self-care and independence.
• Offering emotional and physical comfort to residents.
• Monitoring vital signs and weight, completing documentation as required.
• Prioritizing resident service, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.
• Supporting individual and group recreational activities.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience working with older adults preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; 12+ years of education preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old or as per state regulations.
• Experience with dementia residents preferred.
• Meet continuing education and certification requirements.
• Willingness and ability to perform all responsibilities adequately.
