Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Medication Technician to enrich residents' lives through hands-on care, medication administration, and compassionate support in a safe home-like setting.

You will work the 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends and holidays required, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package. Must have HS diploma or GED; CNA preferred; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately
• Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well‑being
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies
• Other duties as assigned
