Discovery Management Group is seeking a Care Giver/Medication Technician to enrich residents' lives by delivering compassionate care, administering medications, and supporting daily activities in a home-like environment.

The position emphasizes safety, dignity, and teamwork with healthcare staff. A CNA certification is preferred; a high school diploma is required, along with 18+ age, CPR/First Aid preferred. Flexible full-time schedules, competitive wages, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for residents, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, and safety.
• Administer and observe medications and treatments following the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting and reporting concerns.
• Monitor and record resident conditions and changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and activity participation.
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and security systems.
• Communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff about care needs and changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
