Job summary

Vitality Living's Seabrook at Murrells Inlet Community is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents with medications and related care. You will administer or assist with prescribed medications and maintain accurate daily records, while keeping the med room organized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with medication as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following policy.
• Observe and document health and emotional condition of residents, report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with medication cart audits.
• Provide direct resident care.
