Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join the Oasis at Coral Reef Community. This role supports residents with medication administration and daily care, contributing to a compassionate, vibrant community where every team member is valued.

You will maintain medication rooms, document changes, and collaborate with supervisors to ensure safety and quality of care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
• Provide direct resident care.
