Job summary

Vitality Living is hiring a Medication Technician for the 7pm-7am shift at our Murrells Inlet community. You will administer medications, assist with self-administration, and maintain residents’ records with accuracy and care.

The role involves ensuring medication safety, documenting changes in residents’ condition, and keeping the medicine supply area organized per policy. We welcome compassionate individuals dedicated to resident well-being and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Administer or assist with medication per health care provider instructions.
• Maintain and update resident records daily per policy.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
