Responsibilities

Medication Technicians provide a variety of services to our residents, including but not limited to:

• Administers or assists residents to self‑administer medications and treatments.
• Measures vital signs and weight; and performs other health services tasks.
• Communicates with physicians, implements physician orders, and reports/document pertinent information.
• Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services.
• Additionally, Medication Technicians work as the on‑floor supervisor.

Qualifications

• Organized, able to prioritize, patient, empathetic, positive and professional attitude, compassionate, creative and proactive thinking, teamwork‑oriented, and have a passion to serve others.
• Caregiving or Med Tech Experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment criminal background and drug screening.
• Genuine appreciation for seniors and willingness to learn.
