Position Overview
Medication Technicians provide a variety of services to our residents, including but not limited to:
- Administers or assists residents to self‑administer medications and treatments.
- Measures vital signs and weight; performs other health services tasks.
- Communicates with physicians, implements physician orders, and reports/documents pertinent information.
- Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services.
- Works as the on‑floor supervisor.
Qualifications
- Organized, able to prioritize, patient, empathetic, positive and professional attitude, compassionate, creative and proactive thinking, teamwork‑oriented, and passion to serve others.
- Caregiving or Med Tech Experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to pass pre‑employment criminal background and drug screening.
- Genuine appreciation for seniors and willingness to learn.
