Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician for our Oakmont of El Dorado Hills community. The role involves supervising and assisting in the administration of medications to residents, and providing direct personal care with a focus on safety and comfort.

The position requires at least 1 year of experience with medications in a residential care setting, readiness to work full-time PM shifts including weekends, and ability to operate MS Office.

Qualifications

• Assist with medication administration and resident care.
• Ability to coordinate with pharmacy and physicians.
• Proficient in basic MS Office tasks for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff.
