Job summary

Oakmont of El Dorado Hills, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications and providing direct personal care to residents. You will work with housekeepers and maintenance staff within our mission and values-driven culture.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, and maintaining records. State training may be required; a HS diploma or LVN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with medications in a RCFE or similar setting preferred.
• Completion of required state training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Ability to operate MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong desire to care for the elderly and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff.
