Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience as a Medication Technician in an Assisted Living community.
• Arizona State Caregiver Certification is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Current food handler’s card is required.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports.
• Document medication administration and related activities.
• Follow all medication management policies and procedures.
• Record resident medical information and vital signs as needed.
• Monitor and document self-administration of medications by residents.
• Order and re-order medications, supplies, and equipment, partnering with pharmacies and families.

Silver Birch of Midtown is seeking Medication Technicians to join our team. In this role, you’ll help ensure medications are administered safely and accurately, documentation is completed correctly and on time, and residents receive attentive, compassionate care. You’ll work closely with other care team members to support resident updates and changes in condition.
