Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician for Oakmont of East Sacramento to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents in line with nursing standards and company policies. You will provide direct personal care, encourage residents to participate in activities, and work with housekeeping and maintenance staff as part of our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience with medication administration in RCFE settings is preferred.
• Must be able to pass background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
