Claiborne Senior Living in Marietta, GA is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician (CMA) to accurately administer medications according to physician orders and community policy. You will follow the Six Rights, document meticulously, monitor residents for effects, and communicate with nursing leadership to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Ideal candidates hold an Active CMA or Medication Technician certification, a high school diploma, and are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification required per state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and community policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse effects.
• Report changes to nursing leadership and document appropriately.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
