Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides (Med Techs / CMAs) to administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community. You will follow the Six Rights, document accurately, and monitor for side effects while promoting safety.

The role requires CMA certification, a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid readiness, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders, state regulations, and policy.
• Follow Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes to nursing leadership as needed.
• Maintain medication records and counts.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do
