Job summary

Columbia Cottage – Collegeville, PA is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician / Caregiver to join a caring team serving seniors. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with shift differentials and full/part-time options with flexible scheduling.

You will prepare and administer medications, monitor residents, document MAR entries, and support daily living activities, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health, dental, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Medication Technician certification (required).
• Diabetes training.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in assisted living, senior care, or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications according to physician orders
• Assist residents with taking medications safely and effectively
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects
• Document all medication administration in MAR accurately
• Obtain vital signs, blood glucose, and other ordered measurements
• Provide encouragement, education, and emotional support to residents
• Deliver hands‑on care and assist with daily living activities

Available Shifts

• Day 6:00am-2:30pm
• Evening 2:00pm-10:30pm
• Night 11:00pm-7:30am

All positions include every other weekend and holiday requirement unless otherwise noted
