Job summary

Frontier Senior Living is seeking compassionate healthcare workers for full-time or part-time positions in Port Orange, FL. Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with resident care, and performing various duties as needed. Job description

Job Location: Port Orange, FL 32127Position: Full-Time/Part-TimeSalary: $15.00 - $16.00 hourly

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments according to scheduled times and medication administration protocol.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and employee information.
• Notifies Resident Care Coordinator / Executive Director / RN of changes in a resident’s condition.
• Assists with monthly medication records as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, and restocking of the medication room and cart.
• Demonstrates proper technique and assists with equipment such as gait belts, sit‑to‑stand lifts, transfer boards, oxygen, C‑Pap, nebulizers, catheters, specimens, transfer poles, trapezes, wheelchairs, scales, and other equipment, as directed by the Resident Care Coordinator / RN.
• Takes accurate vital signs and weights.
• Substitutes for the receptionist as directed by the Executive Director or Resident Care Coordinator.
• Substitutes for a caregiver when needed.
• Assists in care needs of residents, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Works as manager on duty as directed by the Executive Director or Resident Care Coordinator.
• Keeps current on First Aid/CPR and medication administration skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or other management staff.

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Attends monthly in‑services required for this position.
• Familiarity with and willingness to work with the elderly population; previous experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
