Qualifications

• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
• Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with medications as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider; observe and report responses to supervisor.
• Keep the medication supply room organized and clean; assist with medication cart audits and provide accurate counts; communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
• Completion of training/certification is required by state regulation.
