Job summary

Platinum Communities is seeking Med Techs to provide high quality personal care and medication administration to residents. You will monitor residents, support daily living activities, and mentor new staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training and required CBRF core trainings (Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid/Choking, and Resident Rights).
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report changes.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Provide ADL assistance and support to residents.
• Review ISP before assuming care responsibilities.
• Mentor and train new caregiving staff.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and protect resident information.
