Job summary

Carlton Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to join a compassionate team serving seniors in San Leandro, CA. You will assist residents with medications, organize storage, and coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses and families on updates and changes to care plans.

Position involves supporting daily living activities, ensuring safety, and documenting care using provided tools. Training is offered for the right candidate in a friendly, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet Title 22 requirements.
• Prior caregiving experience is preferred but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team of Medication Technicians to assist residents with medication by preparing and passing it in different forms.
• Organize and maintain Medication Storage.
• Communicate with management, physicians, pharmacists, nurses and families regarding medication changes or missed doses.
• May assist residents with activities of daily living including continence care, grooming, transfers and meals.
• Monitor and report changes in resident care plans to management.
• Document care accurately using company devices and follow care plans.
• Support safety protocols and emergency plans; foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere.

What we are hiring for

Schedules On Call Friday through Monday PM Pay Range 1900 2000

What Youll Do

• Work on a team of Medication Technicians to assist our residents with their medication by preparing and passing medication in different forms
• Organize and maintain Medication Storage
• Communicate with management physicians pharmacists nurses and families regarding medication changes or missed doses
• May assist our resident with activities of daily living that can include continence care showering grooming transfer assistance and meal assistance
• Monitor and report changes in resident care plans to management
• Document care accurately using company provided devices and follow individual care plans
• Support safety protocols emergency plans and elopement prevention practices
• Foster a warm collaborative atmosphere with residents families and team members

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen 18 years or older per Title 22 requirements
