Job summary

A senior living facility in San Jose is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents with their medication needs. Responsibilities include preparing and passing medications, maintaining storage, and assisting with daily living activities. Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old and may not require prior experience as training will be provided. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with their medication by preparing and passing medication.
• Maintain and organize Medication Storage.
• Communicate with management and healthcare professionals regarding medication.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report changes in resident care plans.
• Document care accurately using company devices.

What we are hiring for:

Schedules: On-Call with weekend availability, 6am-2:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm

Pay Range:

$21-$22

What You’ll Do:

• Work on a team of Medication Technicians to assist our residents with their medication by preparing and passing medication in different forms.
• Organize and maintain Medication Storage.
• Communicate with management, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and families regarding medication changes or missed doses.
• May assist our resident with activities of daily living that can include continence care, showering, grooming, transfer assistance, and meal assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in resident care plans to management.
• Document care accurately using company-provided devices and follow individual care plans.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications:
