Sagora Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Med Tech to join our Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The role focuses on administering medications, supporting residents’ daily living activities, and ensuring safety and dignity for those we serve.

The position offers full-time hours at Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch with a caring team and opportunities for growth within Sagora. CMA certification is optional and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Six months of work experience passing meds in a retirement community setting is preferred.
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English.
• Ideal candidate is caring, organized and able to multi-task.

Responsabilités

• Administer and accurately record administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician under supervision of a nurse.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications and keep track of inventory.
• Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored and administered.
• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Assist in daily tasks such as housekeeping, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and cleanup.

What does a Med Tech at Sagora do?

• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
• Manage supply of medications
• Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
