The Opportunity

The Certified Caregiver - Medication Aide position supports residents with daily tasks they can no longer perform or need help with. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents, reporting changes, and collecting samples. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable about resident care procedures, and has excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver routine medications to residents
• Record medication dosages and times
• Observe and document residents' conditions
• Gather samples for analysis
• Inspect and clean equipment regularly
• Uphold health and safety standards
• Follow regulations to ensure safety
• Coordinate with nurses on resident care
• Manage medications per instructions
• Respond to emergency signals
• Protect confidential information
• Seek guidance from nurses as needed

What You’ll Bring

• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide course
• Competency in medication administration
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Minimum age of 18 or as per state law
• Experience working independently and in teams
• Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills
• Pass background checks and drug tests
• Ability to take vital signs and assist with ADLs
