Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit providing comprehensive “whole health” services, including primary care, behavioral health, recovery programs, and social determinants of health like housing and employment. We serve diverse populations across five Central Indiana counties.
The Medication Technician manages medication monitoring and the medication regimen for clients at Mockingbird Hill Recovery Center. Responsibilities include instructing clients on medication use, side effects, and interactions; administering injections and TB tests; processing medication refills and prior authorizations; taking vital signs; consulting with healthcare providers; updating medication records; and monitoring health issues.
Must be certified by an accredited body (QMA, EMT, CNA, MA, Paramedic, Pharmacy Technician) in Indiana or enrolled in a qualifying program within 6 months of employment.
Additional info: Drug screening, TB testing, and extensive background checks are required. All employees are encouraged to get a flu shot and must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. We follow CDC protocols including masks, social distancing, and sanitization.
