Job Description for Medication Aide/Tech

Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider. They will observe and report responses to supervisors.

Certified Medication Aides/Techs are responsible for keeping the medication supply room organized and clean, assisting with medication cart audits, and providing accurate medication counts. They will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
