Belmont Village Albany is seeking a Medication Technician to assist residents with daily medications and ADL tasks under licensed nurse supervision in a warm senior-living community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• C.N.A. license in states where required.
• Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide personal care following physician’s orders and guidelines.
• Documentation and reporting: maintain accurate medical records and report reactions or refusals.
• Vital sign monitoring: observe responses or side effects.
• Shift communication: attend shift meetings and update nursing staff.
• Customer satisfaction: collaborate with team to ensure high-quality care.
• Safety and compliance: adhere to resident rights and regulations including infection control.
