Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to administer medications per doctor orders and monitor resident health. You will document in MAR/TAR, follow Six Rights, observe patients during passes, and report issues promptly while maintaining clean carts and rooms in a regulated, safe environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and a HS diploma, with senior care experience preferred, and is committed to high-quality resident

• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer meds per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer meds as ordered
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range

18.65 - 23.45
