Your Role
Provide hands‑on care, administer medications, and offer physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home‑like environment.
Position Highlights
- Status: Part Time / Full Time
- Schedule: 7a-3p and 3p-11p
- Location: Freehold, NJ
- Rate of Pay: $24
What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating) while promoting dignity, independence, and safety.
- Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed doses.
- Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities.
- Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well‑being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces.
- Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and health‑care staff regarding care needs and changes in condition.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment.
