Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure safe, accurate medication administration and resident care. You will observe residents, document in MAR/TAR in real time, follow the Six Rights, and report concerns promptly.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation and communication skills; senior care experience is preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range: 18.65 - 23.45
