Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely and accurately for our residents, upholding dignity and quality of life.

You will follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, monitor symptoms, observe during passes, report refusals or concerns promptly, and maintain clean carts while following infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required and age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.

Pay Range: 17.95 - 22.45
