Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately and with dignity across our community.

You will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, monitor residents, and collaborate with care teams to maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.

What You'll Do:

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range: 19.65 - 24.65
