Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with dignity.

The role involves administering meds, documenting in MAR/TAR, monitoring residents, and maintaining clean medication areas while following safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range:

21.30 - 26.65
