Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Medication Room Assistant at Vienna Correctional Center to support the nursing leadership in organizing medication rooms and maintaining accurate records.

You will help with inventory, audits, and secure storage of medications, while processing supply requests and assisting with medication delivery as directed by site administration.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• 1 year correctional health care or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Able to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organization and maintenance of medication room records.
• Maintain inventory and audit procedures for medications and supplies.
• Ensure security of medications under supervision.
• Process supply requests promptly and log outgoing medications.
• Assist with delivery of medications as directed by site administration.

Hourly rate starting at $22.77/hour+Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Medication Room Assistant to join our team at Vienna Correctional Center located in Vienna, Illinois.The Medication Room Assistant works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
