Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Certified per state guidelines and certification active and in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional in appearance and conduct.
• Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with coworkers.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Criminal clearance required.
• Health screening by physician within six months prior to or after employment; TB test annually.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications properly and accurately.
• Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Provide empathetic interaction and support to residents.
