Job summary

RiverMead in Peterborough, New Hampshire is hiring a compassionate Medication Nursing Assistant for 2nd shift (3-11 PM). Starting pay is $24.00 per hour with a $2.00/hour evening differential and a $1.50/hour weekend differential.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered personal care to residents.
• Prepare and administer medications to stable residents under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Administer PRN medications with prior approval from a licensed nurse after a resident evaluation.
• Support residents who self-administer their medications, document carefully, and report concerns.
• Keep charts, reports, and forms accurate and up to date.
• Work with nurses, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to bring each resident's care plan to life.
• Stay calm and respond appropriately when emergencies come up.

Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA): 2nd Shift, 3-11 PM
RiverMead | Peterborough, New Hampshire
Starting at $24.00/hour, plus a +$2.00/hour shift differential and +$1.50/hour on weekends

We're looking for compassionate, detail-oriented MNAs to join our evening team.

What You'll Do

• Give hands-on, person-centered personal care that helps residents feel comfortable, respected, and at ease
• Prepare and administer medications to stable residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following New Hampshire regulations and RiverMead policies
• Administer PRN medications with prior approval from a licensed nurse after a resident evaluation
• Support residents who self-administer their medications, document carefully, and report concerns promptly
• Keep charts, reports, and forms accurate and up to date
• Work with nurses, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to bring each resident's care plan to life
• Stay calm and respond appropriately when emergencies come up

Extra Pay for Evenings and Weekends

• 2nd Shift: +$2.00/hour
• Weekend Differential: +$1.50/hour (Friday 5:00 PM to Sunday midnight)

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience (long-term care experience is a plus)
• Completion of Nursing Assistant and Medication Nursing Assistant training programs that meet federal and state requirements
• Current New Hampshire licensure as a Nursing Assistant and Medication Nursing Assistant
• Current CPR certification
• Clear communication and a sharp eye for detail
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• A dependable, self-directed, team-first attitude
