Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Nursing Assistant and Medication Nursing Assistant training programs that meet federal and state requirements.
• Current New Hampshire licensure as a Nursing Assistant and Medication Nursing Assistant.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, self-directed, and a collaborative team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care services to residents.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of medications to stable residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Administer PRN medications with prior approval from a licensed nurse.
• Support and monitor resident self-administration of medications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergencies.
