Job summary

The Ridge RTC is hiring a licensed nurse to support medication management and clinical care in a multi-site behavioral health setting. You will collaborate with physicians, document patient care, and help ensure safe medication administration while maintaining infection control standards.

Responsibilities include attending Clinical Committee meetings, leading health education groups, managing nursing supplies, and supporting leadership to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Completion of a medical program with degree and/or certification in medication nursing.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Water Safety Certificate.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in evaluating or treating patients, preferably in psychiatric/mental health.

• Performs additional duties as directed by the Directors to meet facility needs.

Job description

Our family of services comprises three distinct mental health treatment programs, including a specialized program for US Veterans. With over 15 unique locations, we manage and support 500+ dedicated employees serving over 300 residential clients daily located across five states: California, Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, and Texas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shall be responsible for medication management procedures, collaborate with and support Doctor in all aspects of medication management.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
• Documents patient care services by charting in client files and medical folder.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
• Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Shall attend Clinical Committee meetings.
• Shall conduct health education and/or psycho-educational groups as directed.
• Shall perform such additional functions as specifically requested by Directors to meet special facility patient needs, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Completion of a medical program with degree and/or certification in medication nursing
• Current First Aid, CPR and Water Safety Certificate

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in evaluating and/or treating patients. Preferred experience in working with patients in a psychiatric, mental health, or substance abuse treatment setting.

Salary Range

$25 - $30 USD
