Job summary

Homestead of Knoxville is seeking a full-time Medication Manager to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for activities of daily living and medication administration.

You will also assist with housekeeping, laundry, and mealtime service, and perform duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certification as Medication Aide or completion of the 10-hour Medication Manager course is required on hire.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course required on hire.
• Experience in direct resident care preferred.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, focusing on ADLs and medication administration.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
• Support mealtime service and nourishment delivery.
• Follow directions from the Executive Director and facility policies.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course (if not held already) is required upon hire.
