Job summary

Homestead of Chariton Memory Care in Chariton, IA is seeking full-time or part-time Medication Managers to join our care team. Shifts available 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am.

As a Medication Manager, you will provide direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, laundry, and mealtime service, under the supervision of the Executive Director. Certification as Medication Aide or completion of the 10-hour Medication Manager course is required on hire.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10-hour Medication Manager course is required on hire.
• Provides direct care to residents, including activities of daily living.
• Assists with housekeeping, laundry, and mealtime service as part of duties.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course (if not held already) is required upon hire.
