Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail, hospital, or health-system setting required.
• Three years of pharmacy technician experience in a hospital environment preferred.
• Must obtain Pharmacy Technician Career Ladder assessment certificates within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete, accurate, and timely medication histories for patients admitted.
• Conduct in-person and telephone interviews for various patient categories.
• Document medication histories accurately in the electronic health record.
