Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance at the Mandan Sunset facility. Work is PRN with a minimum monthly hours requirement and travel within a 75-mile radius to support multiple locations.

Role includes recording vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, transfers, and ensuring care plans are followed. Prior LTC experience (3 months, 6 months preferred) is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vitals and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking.
• Support residents with psycho-social needs as per care plan.

Job Summary

The Medication Assistant (MA) serves as caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse. Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per plan of care.
