You will attend online medication aide courses (140 hours), complete rotations, enter data, assist with patient care, and maintain privacy.

Responsibilities

• Attends online medication aide college courses (140 hours).
• Completes coursework and clinical rotations (daily: 4 hours online training + 4 hours on-the-job training).
• Operates computers to enter data, generate reports, and draft routine correspondence.
• Performs administrative support tasks: filing, mail, faxing, typing.
• Answers phone calls and adjudicates each call appropriately.
• Assists with patient activities and care as directed by the nurse manager; maintains supply levels.
