Job summary

EOSIS in Sauk Rapids, MN is hiring a full-time Medication Aide to support addiction treatment and behavioral health services under Nurse Manager supervision. You will assist with medication administration, maintain records, and collaborate with nurses, counselors, and technicians to promote recovery and wellness.

Pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour with a 1st shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm schedule. EOSIS offers time off, insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) options, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School education or GED.
• Training of medication administration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred.
• CPR and first aid certified preferred, if not - we'll get you certified!

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse.
• Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database.
• Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures.
• May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Record and restock medication inventoriesPerform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor
