Job summary

EOSIS in Owatonna, MN is seeking a full-time Medication Aide to support individuals during addiction treatment and behavioral health services. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, you’ll assist with medication administration and provide compassionate patient care.

This role collaborates with nurses, counselors, and technicians to maintain a safe, recovery-focused environment. Pay is $19–$22 per hour for 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm) with benefits including time off and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School education or GED.
• Training in medication administration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred; if not, we’ll help you get certified.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse
• Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database
• Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures
• May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions
• Record and restock medication inventories
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor
