EOSIS in Sauk Rapids, MN is seeking a full-time Medication Aide to support individuals in recovery. Under Nurse Manager supervision, you will administer medications, maintain records, and collaborate with nurses, counselors, and technicians to create a safe, supportive environment that promotes wellness.

The role offers day shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, $19-$22/hour, and benefits including paid time off, health insurance, tuition assistance, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School education or GED.
• Training in medication administration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred, if not - we'll get you certified!

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse.
• Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on forms or database.
• Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication as prescribed.
• May take vital signs or observe patient to detect reactions and report to designated personnel.
• Record and restock medication inventories and perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
