Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver/CNA to join our resident-focused team. This role is hourly, second shift, on-site, with evening and overnight differentials and an opportunity to earn up to $22.00 per hour.

Previous caregiving experience and ability to read, write and speak English are preferred. Open interviews are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 PM to 4 PM at 491 Crestwood Drive, Charlottesville.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiver or CNA experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification where required).

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance per state regulations and company policy, including pouring, preparing, and documenting.
• Assists in maintaining the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
• Accepts responsibility for accurate medication counts and security of the medication cart/storage room.
• May assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care and medication assistance.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and coordinates with licensed nurses as needed.
• Completes documentation such as MARs, incident reports, and change of condition reports.
• Supports dining room assistance during meals and encourages participation in activities.
